Hi, I have an 1984 318i baur tc and im looking to do an m52 conversion.

I have a donor 1996 e36 328i. I have already removed the engine, box, prop, exhaust and now just need to know what wiring and ecu's ( ews??? ) I need off of it and anything else before it goes for scrap.

Im not sure where i need to disconect or chop the loom and also what and where the ews is. Wiring isnt my strong point as you can probably tell lol.

I am planning on using the e36 box, prop and exhaust. and also (which i dont have yet) clio servo, 325i rear beam with disks and lsd ( not sure what lsd to use, probably the cheapest i can find lol), e34 sump dipstick and oil pick up, and if its worth getting polly bushes for rear end while its all out ( which polly bushes are worth doing?)

I would be very gratefull for any advise, because as ive
mentioned im unsure on a few things and also where to source parts.

Thanks

Guy

EWS module is behind the glovebox in an e36, whether it is LHD or RHD.
Some of us Brit's were at work last evening, both the M1 and M25 were full of Kiwi's who seemed unable to drive in a straight line.

EWS on the car I broke for my conversion was mounted on the o/s....

IIRC Malcolm your engine came straight out of an E34 525i? Will is referring to E36 EWS location
