Heater matrix pipes HELP

Hi guys could any one tell me which way round the pipes go to the heater matrix. Which one the one from the back of the head top or bottom of the matrix.
It's a m52 in to a 325 would b great help thanks x

I'm fairly sure the pipe from the head goes to the bottom pipe on the heater matrix.
