Ive just bought an engine stand so i can prep my m52 to go into my car, was just wondering if i could use the original gearbox bolts to mount on the stand or what other types of bolts should be used?
i understand the block is aluminum so dont want to damage it in any way.

Just use the gearbox bolts, I always do.
