how much oil m52?

just had a look and the e34 sump uses 5.75 litres and e36 is 6.5 litres im using the e34 dipstick should i use the e36 one with the e34 sump?? its an over veiw on my part

i use e34 dipstick tube and near 6 ltrs of oil. never had an issue in the 2 years its been in my car

is that with the e34 or e36 DIPSICK?, why the extra 0.75 litres in the e36 and not the e34?

well i would assume the e34 one as the ''dipstick'' was in the tube when removed from the m50 i had in my car before the 52, (which was from an e34)..... with the m52 i re-used the sump and assosiated parts
