I have a problem that I'm sure not many of you have run into. I have a right hand drive E30 in a left hand drive invironment and can only source left hand drive exhausts locally. The stock M50 vanos ones did not clear front or rear, and now I'm seeing that this is the norm for you chaps as well.

I see the M52 manifolds from a RHD car still need to be modified to fit, let alone the LHD M52 manifolds!

Will the cheap stainless headers off of ebay meant for an E36 fit in the E30 and clear the steering properly? Or am I basically stuck cutting up M50 or M52 manifolds?

Nope they wont fit at all, and more importantly they are very poorly made!

I'm just gonna get a set of LHD M52 manifolds and hack them up.

i looked at doing the same but you would get better results modding the standard ones.

doesnt take long to do, be easier if you put the triangle joins in lower down or put sleeves in for clearance, i have a e36 rack with a std steering linkage with the guibo removed
