cooling sistem badly presureing up eny 1 no y this is happening????

Cracked head, failed head gasket or system is not sealed/bled properly

has the cooling system had any maintanence lately?? (new water pump, rad, thermostat change ect ect).........
A 2 door e30 with 8 cylinders, what could be better

Just replaced all of that as just done an 2.8 conversion from 318is

It isn't bled properly then is my bet.!
Back fill the matrix and fill engine via top hose, once coolant is at the top of the hose end re attach it to the rad and fill via expansion bottle... My trick "always" works, that is bleed screw out, thumb over it and pour a ltr in through cap, mouth round bottle and blow (with finger off), when your running out of puf place finger back over bleed opening (this stops her sucking air back in). Keep repeating this procedure ltr by ltr until just coolant exits the bleed hole.
Don't settle if its spitting! Keep going as there will still be air in there..
On the last blow, when it is a constant flow of coolant refit the bleed screw. Job done there.
This procedure is best done with the front end jacked up. Only now can you run the engine with heaters on and hot. I periodically crack the bleed so that the last tiny air pockets can escape.
