How to check lambda A/B

My new m52 seems down on power so I'm trying to check things off the troubleshooting list. How do I know which lambda goes to which manifold? Both my loom wires travel to the rear of the block/head. The length of each wire is fairly similar.

Lambda in the back bank plugs into the connector at the front (toward bonnet)

Wierd I know but that's how it it lol
A 2 door e30 with 8 cylinders, what could be better winkeye :D
