Iam about to start my m52 conversion and have literaly a interiorless rolling shell, interior plans are 2 seats and shell of dash for clocks and thats it. It is going to be a road legal track car for a bit of fun but only in the summer months.
Is it best to refit the heater matrix for cooling etc or can I get away without it? Is it easier to bleed coolant with or without it also?

Looking at your location id say get the matrix back in. You will need the blower to clear the screen if it gets damp in the car, you can get specialist small heater matrix's but do you want to spend the time and effort when the standard one will do?

Cheers mate, makes sense for clearing the screen, does it being in help in the bleeding of the cooling system once the m52 is in place?
