I'm currently in the last stages of an M50 conversion in my 1988 325i E30 saloon.
My last question was regarding wiring, Basically, on the main loom from the M50 side, pin 3 red/white (abs supply) should connect to pin 20 red/yellow on the M20 side.
My pin 20 has a brown wire which i've already been warned not to connect, so where/ what do i connect the red/white wire to?

The car has abs fitted and with the cover off the unit and standing at the front of the car, there are 12 points on the unit, the row of six furthest back has a red/yellow wire at point 5, Do i trace this back as close to the bulkhead as poss and splice the red/white wire into it?
Anyone else had this problem? I'm hoping this will be the last question  Any help/advice greatly appreciated

Success! Found the relay for abs under the passenger side of the dash, pole 87 has the red/yellow wire so traced it up into the fuse box and joined a new wire in place, its already fused.
Next step was to slide the wire up inside the sleeve and out of the inside of the plug, I put a new connector on.
Did the same for the other plug and soldered the new wire to the red/white wire....simples!
Just hope it works now
