If you don't have ABS then get an early E35 325i M50 air filter box

on all bmw's the standard airbox is better than most setups...... however if you have abs you will find, like me that you have no room for an airbox! in this case an alternative is needed,,, i have an inclosed filter straight to the back of the headlights, it similar to a bmc item.
it performs fine on my car.
before this i had a normal cone filter as it was the only thing i could lay my hands on, it just kept sucking in hot air and was crap, but this inclosed apnin is great as it has its own heat shield

im binning all the brackets and smoothing the engine bay, then painting the engine bay matt black to contrast the newly painted silver engine
, theres a couple of small polished bit here and there on the engine and im in the middle of polishing the fuel rail , the engine is nearly done now and i'll stick a few piccies on my build thread for approval/disapproval
not sure what to do with the brake setup yet but i'll have to run a bias valve for sure just not sure in what set up yet as the master cylinders have 2 outs and the bias valves ive seen only have 1
