Either a simple wiring fault, or, if you've fully connected the EWS, including the starter inhibit, it could be a problem there.
Engine to body earth lead OK?
Battery + connected to starter motor OK?
Black/yellow starter wire on the correct starter motor terminal?
What happens if you link 11 and 14 on the diagnostic socket?

Lol dan, after I got off the phone to u a got her to crank over but not fire and I scratched my head and thought "I wonder if I would be so stupid" lol....... And I was! Hehe, school boy error

Thanks guys, and ohhh yes she goes like **** and I'm real happy with it, also she feels more agile up front compared to having the m50 in there!

My only problem at the mo is I have no power steering??? Why could that be? 8)

Can't see how I could mix them up though dan tbh, the 22mm went in the side and the 19mm nut (e30 pipe) went into underneath on my m50 pump so this is what I've done to this pas pump.

Only problem is I put the 22mm pipe on using the nut as usual but the bottom connection on the 52 pas pump was an outlet that one puts a hose over and jubilees, if you get me mate??.... So guess what I did....... Lol :D

Steering is very heavy and pump making noise like failing or empty but I've filled it :?

I had this problem with my US spec e30. I found i had to change the rack for a pas. the previous may have been hydro assisted rather then high pressure. Its a guess, but changig the rack worked.
