Hi all, I own an 88 325i which is receiving an M50 transplant, wiring is nearly complete, but, the ABS supply wire differs from what is listed on the guide, no.3 on the E34 side is red/white and should go to no.20 red/yellow on the E30 side, my no.20 wire is brown (on the E30 side) do i still connect it? everything else is matched as per the guide.
Finally, from the main wiring loom, where it splits to go to the positive jump point and through the bulkhead to the ECU, I have a brown/orange wire with a ring end, where does this go? does it connect to the jump point or does it require blanking?
Just wished i'd labelled it now
Any help would be appreciated

Cut the brown wire out of the plug, its a fire hazard - http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... ic&t=83367

JESUS! Thanks for that, bloody glad I asked before connecting it and trying, any ideas on the brown/orange one? Do you think its just a surplus and should be blanked?

The brown/orange is the main earth for the engine loom. Goes to the earthing point on the top of the RH suspension turret.
