hi guys would e28 520i lux mounts be ok to use in my conversion are the same as 525 or m5 ???

Naah, they'll get mullered in no time and have your engine either hitting the rad, or worse exhaust manifold still hitting the steering coupling.
I used original E28 M5 mounts, they were about £60 when I did my swap about 2 years ago, so no doubt more now.

hmmm dnt fancy paying that much tbh on a budget if anyone has some laying around they want to sell would be handy if not may look into just solid mounting it :/

I payed about £44 for the pair in euro prats. Took them to bmw to check oem part numbers matched and they did so happy days.
Tbh I wouldn't cut corners with this! Its vital you get it right for a few reasons, as lee above mentioned and also sump clearance ect. The sump clearance is important as I reckon its engine out job to replace and the manifold stopping the steering joint turning.... Well, speaks for itself mate.
E28 m535 mounts is what you need, try euro parts or even GSF

Yeah the ones in fergs link are the ones I used. They've been fine on my car for about 3 months

When you say they move about, which ones did Dan wreck recently? Hope it wasn't them! i checked dezzy's engine movement out yesterday,or rather lack of it as his engine stay's still when rocked and his car moves instead.on mine it's the other way round

seems weird that yours are moving like that and mine arnt
