Im doing an M52 conversion into a 1990 e30. I have a full system from a 328i coupe with a scorpion back box. Is there much work to be done to the system to fit onto the E30?, excluding the manifolds, or does it fit underneath the E30.

Thanks, Josh.

I`ve fitted an E36 exhaust with a sebring back box to my E30.It fits but the twin cat is a bit tight up against the heat shield and rattels a bit,so a bit of persuasion with a knocking stick in the right places sorted that out.
As for the back box you will have to use E36 mounts and modify them so they can be bolted to the boot pan.You will also need to make some brackets to support the cat as there isnt any brackets to hook the rubber bushes on.You will have to remove the heat sheild also.
All in all if you havent got the proper facilitys to do this 'conversion' i wouldnt bother,(got to admit tho the tone that comes out of the sebring is well nice :D )
