For anyone doing a conversion I've just seen an e34 in berinsfield breakers (oxfordshire) with what seems to be a non-vanos M50B25, it could be an M50B20 but I don't think so. Reg is H139XGN if you want to check.

It still has M50 inlet manifold as well as sump, dipstick pipe, and presumably oil pickup. I already have these parts for mine. It's also got a filthy but very good looking leather black leather interior (seats at least).

It's on the bottom of a pile at the moment but I've asked them to move it cos I want the downpipes.

Thought this info might be useful to someone.

It's a small scrappy.
There are also 2 e36's but they are both 4 cylinder jobs.

The E34 is behind a bunch of Ford guff and under an audi. Wheels removed of course, it's on the floor. Therefore you need to somehow persued the slightly less than energetic owners to move it if you want the sump. The inlet manifold is easy as I already removed it (and the bonnet) today to get at some other bits, it's there for the taking.
