Hello,

I'am swapping my M40b16 for a M50b20 from a E34. At the moment I have the entire list completed:

- E28 M5/535i rubber engine mounts
- Radiator from E36
- Differential 3,64
- Exhaust cat. E36
- Engine mounts E36
- ....

But now I need the right transmission mount rubbers. I'm using the E34 M50 gearbox, but which rubbers do I need? I've heard that the E21 320(i) are the best. But which mounts do I need exactly? What are the correct nummers so I can order them at the BMW dealer.

With kind regards from the Netherlands

Radiator from E36
ive used an e36 328 rad, works great with no bother 8)
Engine mounts E36
you have listed the right rubber mounts, you need 2 of the hockey puck style ones tho! and its 6 pot e36 engine 'arms' you need mate

and another thing.... why bother with the cats?? your car is pre cat so you can get away with it :)

as for the gearbox mounts, im sorry but i cant help with that as im running an m42 box for which ive used e30 gearbox brace and rubbers - Ant 8)
A 2 door e30 with 8 cylinders, what could be better winkeye :D

Thanks for your answer. But in Holland we have some restrictions for the sound (dB). So I need a mid-demper or a cat.

I'm very interested in the gearbox mount rubbers. Can somebody help me ;)?
