Im using an M52 with an M42 gearbox,

is there any issues with the gearbox mounting or does it fit straight on?
iv heard about the gearbox sitting at a different angle due to the M52, is this true?

It's the M20 boxes that sit at the wrong angle dude, M42 box fits fine and the standard mount is the perfect fit. Make sure you fit an M20 spigot bearing into the end of the M52 crankshaft before fitting the box, the M52 one is too big

Best to get one brand new mate, ask at bmw for an m20 spiggot bearing. All m20 ones are 12mm and around £15 iirc 8)
