Evening all, have bolted my m50 in, made up my manifolds, fitted danthe's steering linkage but have come to a stop fitting the top heater hose, the matrix pipe comes up out of the bulkhead and nearly touches the inlet manifold, do i have to bend this down, or cut it to give me clearance. Beemerlad said he removed his inlet manifold and fitted the pipe but in my case when i put the manifold back it would crush the pipe. Any ideas???
Cheers

when i did mine it was really really close to touching the pipe. Have you tried taking the inlet off and doing it as beemerlad said?
Saying that i did mine without, i think it was a struggle but couldn't remember any drama's just a bit of a tight fit.

IIRC with the standard heater box the inlet manifold was just touching the hose on mine, never had any problems with it like that for over 30,000 miles. With the aircon heater box I use now the pipes are aluminium and are higher so I had to bend the top pipe downwards slightly

Thanks for the replies, i'll have another look but i think it is still too close, i'll take a picture later, there only seems to be 10mm between heater box pipe and inlet unless i'm missing something.
