m52 install advise needed!!!!!

hi , hope some 1 can help....

i have just stepped in from trying to install my m52 .... the rear monifold has been chopped and been fitted to pass steering column... the problem is the front monifold , where the down pipe flang is it hits the crossmember/steering rack.... does it need to be cut and modified to pass this... or am i doing somthing wrong

any feedback will be appriciated.

Flange needs cutting off and the pipe needs bending/chopping a bit, I did away with the flange and made a sliding joint, some pics of mine here -

just to add engine is sitting in so sweetly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! choped and modified the front manifold
