I know the engine deffinately run before i put it in as it used to be my car.
It turns over but wont fire up.
There is fuel going to the rail, got a spark at the plug.
Havent messed with the timming chains,i only change the pick up pipe didnt touch the oil pump.
Just dont understand why it wont fire up.Checked that all the wires are connected to there relevant plugs.
Could it be my wirring to the c101 plug?
Has any one got any ideas as to what else i can check or try to remedy this frustrating head ache?
M50 wont start

It happens because people assume that the fuel pressure regulator controls the fuel pressure going into the fuel rail. It actually controls the pressure by regulating the flow from the rail.
That is 100% exactly what i thought when trying to work it out. With hindsight it makes sense that it works that way.Brianmoooore wrote:It happens because people assume that the fuel pressure regulator controls the fuel pressure going into the fuel rail.
