I've to finish up as a mate needs his garage back!!!
Engine in and running. I used e34 m50 for my swap.

Time has got at my memory & research. I'm worried about

1. Powersteering pump and best fit hoses, Reservior (I've used the std e34 pump.

2. Oxygen Sensor, wires and fitting it.
3. Temp Sensor, wires and fitting it to trigger ZX fan in front of rad.

My first swap so complete learning process.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I'm sure I managed to get my E30 PAS pipes to fit upto the M50 PAS pump

Aren't the O2 sensors already wired into the loom? From memory there are only 2 white and 2 grey wires and I don't think it matters which way they are connected, so long as they mate to the same colour wire

For the temp sensor, which rad are you using? Does it have a threaded blank on the driver side of the rad where you can fit the thermo switch to? I bought a plug & play electric fan loom from a member on here called DanThe as I'm a complete Luddite when it comes to electrics.

Thanks Beemerlad, lov'n the Black chromee, super sweet, mines the conv. version love the chrome!

got one extra long hose I had to fit round the front of the engine, hopefully it will do. need to test for all new systems for leeks from hoses and clips!!!

Got the exhaust welded up n headshiels n driveshaft all bolted up!

I've the bottle built in rad will check out!

I'm also thinking Diffs atm want the lowest possible as I use it for cruising at speed and the Bike for speeding at speeding speed!!

A mate has an e12 2.8 auto diff I'm hoping it'll fit but checking ratio.

I also hear that 325tds have a low diff.

As for the sensor I thought der was one in the 525 exhaust but seems to have gone walkabout.

will do a bit more research any help appreciated.

Cheers
