Is there an engine number stamped on an M50 engine ?
(I want to check that I've got what I paid for,)

You are a diamond, at least I now definitely know I've got a 2.5 engine, it came from Wales by the way !!
(Now I've just got to source an E34 sump, pick up pipe, dipstick & tube etc,)
