Trying to nail this idle problem

shot in the dark here but if your lambda heating relay isnt working correctly the lambdas could not be sending a correct signal to the ecu?

.....actually i guess that would that only affect the engine from cold

Thank you... My problem is mostly when cold...or sometime random when warm and rolling to roundabout on neutral...but just sometimes not always...

Almost getting to an end with my problems...I've took everything off (air hoses) and sealed them using thread tape and forced them in...cleaned again the ICV and seems better...the only problem is when the engine warms up... The idle goes up and down...from 500 to 900...

I've changed the lambda back to the original one as i've heard that the aftermarket ones might not work as they suppose to do...

Any ideas?!

I'll probably end up with with bits for 2 engines...
I've got 2 lambda's, 2 ICVs, 2 TPS... Today I've spend 5 hours playing with them...

Only with ICV I can see a difference:

With one the engine starts but stalls as not enough air,
And with the other one the Idle jumps from 600 to 1400...done the change between them twice now...

With the ICV that the engine idle plays up if I disconnect the MAF connector the idle settles but the engine sounds rough

Any idea!?

I bet is the ICV...at least I hope it is

I was wrong...changed the ICV, the MAF, the TPS and looks like might be the Lambda...with the MAF connected the idle goes up and down 750-1500 RPM and when I disconnect it the idle settles but runs rich...

I'll change the lambda tomorrow and see what's happening...

mine came up as lambda on bank 2 one of the wires were fook but never had an idle problem like your saying. could it be a duff a engine temp senor. best thing to do is to pay someone to put there computer on it mate and see what faults come up

yeah get someone with a snapon or any good diagnostic computer and that will tell you whats what not just codes even the part thats not working. you did wire up the diagnostic wire to the c101 plug?
