M52 reverse light not working & speedo

As above - ive had a look at fuses but they're fine.

There connector by the gear shifter is there but nothing for it to connect to?

Ive had a look under the car, i can see a connector going to the gearbox from the loom?


Also, the speedo doesnt seem to work, replaced the plug in the diff but nothing?

Bit of a pain - would anyone have any idea?

You don't use the M52 loom connector for reverse light, you have to use the original cable from E30 which can be found near gear stick base. I cut the two pin connector off the M52 loom and stuck it on the end of the original E30 wires.

easy fix fuse has blown or your wires are earthing to the body to blow the fuse. it will blow once you put it in reverse and kills the dash rev and fuel, MPG IRC. but the red light will still come if empty.
