M52 loom questions

Hi,

Can someone confirm the following for me please?

1) Do the three red cables below all go to positive battery terminal?



2) Can someone tell me where each of these three cables go? I’m guessing the square ended one on the left goes to starter but not sure on other two?



For reference my M20 starter has three cables going to it currently, two small and one larger which I believe is coming from alternator. See below...

Top picture, they would all connect to the battery, although one is the feed for the E36 fusebox which is obviously not needed. 6mm ring terminal is power to the engine loom

Second picture, the Red wire on the left is to the starter, the middle wire is feed to the E36 fusebox which also feeds back into the loom to the ignition circuit relay on the small wire, this small wire will need a 12v connection. The wire on the right covered in black is the earth, peel back the black covering to confirm as the wires will be Brown or Brown/Orange
