Brake servo and lines
Moderator: martauto
Hi All,
Looking to start with the brakes on my e30 318 swap to m52b28 engine and just wanted to check if anyone has used the kunifer made to order pipes off ebay:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-E30-3-se ... Swo0JWPbp0
Since i am swapping from a 318 to the 325 brakes is that all i need to ask for? Are all the 325i brake likes the same? Is it worth not getting the hoses from him and getting the braided hoses instead?
The servo i was going to buy:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Genuine- ... SwOA1aKe-I
or is it not really worth buying a new one?
Sorry for all the questions - just a bit aprehensive to spend money on the wrong stuff.

Did I get the wrong one?
What should the dimensions be?

i just got this message from the ebayer:
"This one is from a Clio III from 2006 - 2012, they are a bit bigger than the Clio II from 2001 - 2005.
All the Clio II ones from 1998 - 2005 sport and non sport are more or less exactly the same and are all the same exterio dimensions, so if this one is too big, it's because its a later style Clio III one."
Should I change it for the ClioII from 2001-2005?

No I didn’t run new lines mate.
I fitted my servo yesterday, easy enough to install but I had to drill out the bracket on the cabin side as the locating pin was slightly bigger than the existing holes.

I’m interested in sorting this problem out too, if feels like the servo is getting too much vacuumceige85 wrote:with this swap does anyone notice a huge amount of initial pedal play? seems really soft and hard to meter in the power

Think I'm just gonna sack off the servo and go for a delete kit straight to the master. Pay the price with cold brakes initially but better than a sketchy feeling when driving hard!
