Heater pipes

Hi .a mate is just finishing a m52 conversion and can't remember which way around the heater pipes go into the heater box . The pipe from the head does it go into top heater matrix pipe or the bottom ? Thanks

From the head to the top heater hose.

I must of been distracted typing that.

I've just had an E30 in with cold heaters, and the pipes were on the wrong way.
