Morning,

ive bought a sump pick up and dipstick from a guy on the zone and i think the sump is actually an M50b20 (E34) sump.

think he had an m50b25 (E36) in his e30

there is no bolts to take the baffle off and no oil level sensor just the blanking plate.

to get this to bolt up to an M52B28 how do i remove the baffle (if still needed) and also fit the sensor in there (obviously i unbolt the blanking plate and fit the new one) i just need to know how it all connects up to the new loom? or if its just the same connector as the M52

Thanks

The baffle needs to be drilled off when the mounting studs are, make sure to cleans thoroughly after. Sensor I can't help with as don't run one.

Sorry would one of you be able to find a picture i have a good idea of what you mean just im paranoid about it as i dont want to end up starving the engine of oil.

i take it i just need to cut the whole thing out along with the mounts for it? get the bottom of the sump as smooth and flat as possible?

Many Thanks
