M20 Gearbox on M50 Crossmember?

Im putting an M50 in my E30 decided to keep the M20 box and currently getting the fly lightened to 5.9kg so the box will bolt up, the next thing I need to know is how do I need to modify the crossmember theres loads of info saying it needs to be done but non on what actually needs doing. Any help greatly appreciated.

that looks smart how did you go about raising the mount on the left??? it looks factory.

Off the top my head, M20 box on M52 twists the box right around 12 or 20 degrees...on of the two

Garagistic in the US do an off-the-shelf brace, and UUC does a "twister" DSSR to use as well

thanks for that think il knock something up, also noticed that non of the fixings across the bottom line up, is this correct? The box is well bolted on above the bellhousing but below there is one to either side. Also does anyone have anypics of how much I need to bend the shifter linkage?
