Oil level sender driving me crazy

M52 has been in a while now but I haven't got the oil level sensor installed and the little check light is driving me mad
I've tried linking out the 3 wires that are in the sender plug but nothing seams to work!!! Anyone know how to link it out or if it can't be done what sensor do I have to get to put in the e34 sump

If you have the check control and the wire/plug in the engine loom just fit an E34 M50 level sender
