So close to starting tonight. Got the pump wiring sorted, and put in the missing fuse 11. She caught for a split second then heard a gushing sound and smell of petrol - the fuel pressure regulator had fallen off the rail. Looks like the retaining clamp or circlip is missing, and that's my question. I've done some searching and it seems there are 2 types of retention, a clamp and a circlip. I think its the circlip I need, but can anyone tell me for sure from the pic below, and if so, is there only 1 type of circlip? Hoping the local dealers will have one in stock.

Thanks

All sorted. Picked up the circlip from BMW today. Good knows why mine was missing, but incase anyone needs one of these in the future the part number was 13531736234 and cost was £2.50 plus VAT.
