5 speed auto with E30 M52 conversion

Been trying to find out whether it is possible to retain the 5 speed auto box with the M53 engine when doing the e30 conversion.

So far I have not seen anything showing that it is possible.

Can anyone shed any light??

No reason why it wouldnt be possible, the only part that would need more thinking would be a display for the */E/S options of the switchable box, as its normally part of the instrument cluster.
