Replacement gearbox for a M52 Getrag 240

I have blown the second 240 gearbox with my 328i turbo. This time around all but 5th gear all shoot to pieces. Thankfully I made it back home.

I´m looking to replace it with a 100% PnP replacement box, I know the S50 Euro and 328i Z320 box are but are there any diesel boxes I can fit in there without problems?

I have an E46 diesel 6 speed box and 1st gear is quite a bit shorter than standard petrol ratio, I am having to make the diff tall geared to make up for it, 2.65 is the next ratio ready to go in

But does the gearbox actually replace the 240/310/320 boxes PnP?
