...for the weekend when it comes to engine swap time. Got a list of things here - anything missing from this list that I'm liable to need or anything else that might need replacing while everything is out? I already have 325i started & lightened flywheel.

Also, what gearbox mounts should I be using to fit the E36 ZF box on the E30 325i cross-member?

2 x E28 hockey puck engine mounts
E36 328i gearbox mounts
E36 clutch slave cylinder
E30 braided clutch line
E30 325i clutch kit
E30 prop centre bearing & Housing
E30 325i flywheel bolts
M50 sump gasket
M52 rocker-cover gasket
E36 Gear linkage bushes & circlips

Thanks guys - I was aware of the sticky but not the second thread. I would've thought the release bearing would come with the clutch kit?

Also, my question was more regarding what things are worth replacing (age, wear and tear etc) while I have the engine, box etc all out on the stand. To save me running into lots of trips to the dealer for random bits and bobs that I come across!

I replaced the stat and also got an alloy stat housing

refreshed all the bits needed for the gear linkage

m50 inlet
reconditioned starter and alternator (both were shot thought)
lightened m20 flywheel
engine and fan loom from danthe
uj's and straight spline
flywheel bolts
gaskets for the sump, throttle body, manifold, exhaust (and rocker cover)
blue temp sensor, other temp sensor, rad temp sensor/switch
e36/46 rack + tierods + pipes
bushes all round (while your at it)
braided clutch line - since you will have it out anyway
front subframe reinforcements
prob bearing and guibo

the list goes on and on
