Hi All

A little help needed. E30 M52 with M50 inlet and large throttle body fitted. Which cable do i need?

I have ordered one from BMW 35411160611. On the Wiki page it says there should be an option of two lengths but BMW say not on that part number.

Is this right?

The one you ordered should be about 1170mm in length, don't worry about the other one mate!

Maybe Wiki needs changing then if its incorrect. It leads you to think there is two cables.

I recall just ordering a throttle cable for a 1992 525i without cruise control from the dealers. What was supplied fitted with no problems but I won't have the part number as I am hopeless at keeping paperwork

There are two cables, no idea why, one is ridiculously short, so short I cant imagine how the hell it works, ive also ordered a 525 cable from the dealers and had the short one land, IMO its best to ask the parts guy for the cable rather than give the part number, if you give them the wrong part number they dont have to take it back

Cheers Dan. Yes the short one is what returned from the Wiki part number, i too dont understand how that can even reach the Throttle body!!

Anyway i will go and see if they can come up with the right one, i did explain it should be approx 1170mm but they list no size/length. If anyone in the mean time comes up with the correct number then please point me to it.

Ps Dan i will pm you soon about a steering link/UJ's.
