Hi I have done an M50 swap on my e30 the engine is from an E34 5 series and the power steering pump has 2 blanking plugs that would be used if the car had self levelling suspension but as it doesn't BMW fitted blanking plugs to it. The pump leaks constantly from these 2 blanking plugs even though the pump has been reconditioned 3 times now. I have checked that none of the lines are blocked and they all seem clear.
Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be? Am I using the wrong pump or is it because I have still got the 316 steering rack?

Thanks Matt

i binned my e34 touring p/s pump due to extra pipe outlet for the self leveling . i then fitted one from a e36 320, that was 3 years ago and its still working with no leaks .
