Guys, I have an E36 loom as pictured but can anyone tell me why I have what appears to be two ECU Plugs?

Its an M50b25 engine, was an Auto. Is it a module box of some description?

Sorry for being a thicko :D

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Second one is for the gearbox ECU. Can all be pruned out.

Excellent news, I guess you can really thin the loom right down for the bare essentials?

I haven't tried it on the ECU itself but can the two plugs be easily distinguished so I don't prune the wrong one?
