i cant seam to find a manifold lookin for a 96 e36 one so i can chop it up to fit but found a turbo one on ebay was thinking of getting that but not running a turbo would this work

It`s tight enough trying to squeeze M52 manifolds in. Turbo mani`s are usually mandrel bent and would be right pita to get in with the rack issues.

Well a turbo one isn't going to work as it terminates in a massive whole for the turbo to bolt on.

Put a wanted ad up here. There were 2 for sale last week sometime.

just put a wanted advert on here in the relevant section, check ebay etc also.

You need the 2.8 M52 manifolds.

Usually about £35-£40 for a pair of manifolds

I just got mine through and need to know how they need to be modified to clear the steering column
Parts needed:

M40/M20 ignition coil with high voltage lead

Chop at the flange and adjust them closer to the block then weld up

Is that even when using a "dan the" steering column adaptor & a normal E30 steering rack?

I am not sure as annoyingly I haven't gotten round to buying the UJ's yet let alone fitting them.


Go look in the group buy thread about it though, sure it says in there
