Have my new mounts from 300mm.de and want to get hold of the required bits to push my engine back fro0m Alpina position 1 to position 3. Did I read that some people have used Burton mounts from a rs2000 or something like that on their m30 conversion?

Cheers in advance

I'd never use Burton again, my last pair failed after a days use. The metal wasn't sunk far enough into the rubber. Not to everyone's taste but I use 2 hockey pucks

ok what I have on there already seems ok. Steer clear of the burton ones. Hockey pucks is that just with a bit of studded bar and large washers.

Thanks, still not made any in roads into it due to weather and waiting for sump, oil pickup and dipstick.

2 pucks each side, drill them out for M10 bolts, fit long M10 bolts and a nyloc nut. Again, not to everyone's taste but I don't notice much vibration on my road going M30 track/drifter.

Probably a good idea but they are fine as they are.
