Okay so Ive had the slowest m30 conversion in history, but i got keen and was getting stuck back into replacing seals on the motor when i found this..

Is this fatal?

I cracked the flywheel bolts by sticking a screwdriver through the auto flex plate to lock it in place would this have caused the damage?

Its pissed me off a fair amount, the engine has had head gasket and work done to the top end before i got it so its squeaky clean in that regards.

Oh my, if that was holding my flywheel and clutch on I'm not sure I'd take the risk.

Im thinking of finishing the car and driving it whilst looking for a replacement engine to come along.. i've got all the parts for the conversion, replaced all the seals i could think of on this motor and then get to basically the last seal to do and find this..

Its not a risk I'd take... Imagine this happening next to your legs/feet 8O

Think where your flywheel is parallel too... I like my feet! I seriously wouldn't
