what flywheel are best suited to the m30b35

hello chaps
ive read all the search results and the wiki pages and couldnt find much on this
what flywheel are best used in the m30 b35 i think ive got the dual mass standard from the m30 engine
i have heard that the e28 is the better one as its single mass?
any suggestions

I think I'm right in saying all m30'd e28s have a single mass flywheel, and the m535 and m5 flywheels are the lightest of the bunch. You will also have to budget for a clutch as the single and dual mass clutches are different, and they're not cheap!

I have a single mass E28 M535i flywheel should you need one

Any early manual M30 fly will fit, mine is from an E28 525i with an E28 535i clutch.

just been reading your build thread leeparkes thats a great build. did the flywheel make much difference?

Yes use E28 bolts as there shorter, ive no idea if the flywheel made any difference, i went to single mass fly when the Alpina lump went in.

You could get a custom E34 flywheel from TTS.
