Is it possible to take the head off of an m30 engine while the engine is in the car (e30), in position 3? Looks like it should be but not tried it yet so not sure if there is anything stopping the head coming off?

Yea that write up is very good if you haven't done one before, lots of detail. The head would only be coming off for performance enhancementsmcbonio wrote:That write up is brilliant, makes it look straight forward. No reason why you couldn't have a HG change done in an afternoon with an extra set of hands.
Why you removing the head Jer?
