M30 sump height.

Does anyone know if the M30 sump sits lower on an e30 chassis, as I want to convert to m30 but my car is already pretty low. I'm afraid I'll keep smashing the sump.

Anyone know?

Mine was pretty low and had an M30, never had any issues with it scraping. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but the M30 sump is actually quite shallow?

I don't think its that different to a M20?

As above its virtually the same height as M20.

The car might sit a little lower due to a small weight increase :D
