Just really wondering what people are doing for suspension on there E30 M30's?
Mine is currently running uprated shocks and 60mm lowering springs. I am finding that there is way too much movement in the suspension. I do believe the lowering springs are from a 320i. Also got strut brace front and rear.
The car is mainly used for track / drift days. Would it be worth me spending the money on coilovers? I have also thought about getting lowering springs from a cabrio as they are heavier.
Any help would be greatful
Regards Steven

You f*ckin nutter
Ive gone through Unknown 40mm springs to Apex 60mm to Apex 35mm to H&R 60mm and now im on Eibach 40mm.
Imo i prefer the ride on the 35mm Apex's with standard shocks.

felt so proud, even tried it with a E30 325i and got put in my place..
Thank you everyones input. Loving the idea of the truck suspension. How I did chuckle!
It's interesting to see the different spring setups people have used.
At present I'm using Jamex 60mm springs all round with cheap yellow german uprated shocks off eBay.
I have just ordered sleeves etc to make my own coilovers. I have a set of E36 coilovers which I intend to strip to make them for the E30. I thought the E36 spring rate should be about right as they are heavier on the front end.
Any thoughts?
The other problem I have is the rear sits higher since I have removed the original fuel tank for an alloy boot mounted one.
