I'm heading for a budget M30 swap in my chrome bumpered 316 and I plan to make use of the fact I can use the existing gearbox/drivetrain. Do you think a standard M10 clutch will put up with an M30 for a while?

I would like all opinions but preferably not just hear-say! Anyone with actual experience with using the M10 box with an M10 clutch?

Thanks

You can drive around thats for sure, but no full WOT runs or it will slip.
With great challenges comes great engineering.

Thanks, I think I might have to bite the bullet and get something uprated... I might as well do it now while the engine is out. I've seen this on ebay...

Ask them for a torque holding figure, not HP a clutch can´t hold HP :)
