In the guide, it says to use the part above to split the pipe from the thermostat housing to the header tank, so that you can connect this to the heater matrix. Do you need to order a pipe at the same time, or can you just use a length of heater hose? Just sorting out the last few bits I need

I brought a T peice but never used it, im using half M20 half M30.
Standard M20 hose connected to the Matrix and expansion tank then the peice that goes to the stat housing just cut it and join it to the M30 hose.
That way you keep the original path to the expansion tank plus it has a T in the pipe

Me too, but I have used the early tank mounted where the batt would normally go and I don't have a matrix to connect too. But the pipes got to where the matrix would be and just joined together.charlE30 wrote:I did it that way aswell Lee, M30 combined with M20 hoses

Copper pipe and jubilee clips for now! Not ideal as there is no lip to stop the pipe sliding off but it does work and not leak. I will be making up some pipes with different silicone pipe pieces and stainless/ally joiners with the proper lip on. I'll see if I can find a link
