M90 swap

Guys,
I have an M90 with a Getrag close ratio box from a 1979 E24 ,
is the conversion any different than the M30 swap?
I have a complete car.

Don't think the block is the same, mounting points are defo different.

It will fit, into an e30, but you will have to make custom mounts for the block.
As far as I know, the blocks were changed in the E28
