Im using a getrag 240 from a 85' m10, 85' m10 flywheel, sachs stage 3 215mm six-puck clutch (rated 290 ft.lb), 85' 325 driveshaft, 85' 318i flex disc, 85' 318i center bearing. Bolts right up except for the center bearing.. you need to move where it bolts up.

This set up is winner imo, light clutch and flywheel, lighter gearbox, there's more about than Manual M30 boxes. Im just a bit dubious if this set up can take the power...
Do you drive it hard, i mean Drift hard??

I was wondering if an M10 box could take the torque of the M30 engine? There will be about double the power/torque going through it....
no problem.Bristol_Jer wrote:I was wondering if an M10 box could take the torque of the M30 engine? There will be about double the power/torque going through it....

What prop are you using?johnl320 wrote:With the engine in Pos 3 I've used 325 linkage and standard 316 gearbox mounts. I have a spare m10 gearbox standing by.
