HI i got a bmw 318i e30 1991 and want more power, ive heard the 535i engine conversions are good to do?

I need to know everything needed, are they direct fittment ect, anyhelp will be greatfull thanks maxx

okay thanks the help guys, ive been looking for a bmw 535i e32 or e34 as a donor car but cannot find one anywhere ! im looking for one to purchase next week, need this done, if you can find any cheap ones lyeing about get hold of me please. or wheres the best place to look, ive done ebay, autotrader,adtrader cant even find one. thanks max

Manual donor's are becoming harder to find, just keep looking and something willl pop up.

There was word of using M10 boxes with an uprated clutch

yeah can i buy an auto one as theres one on ebay for £500 atm but its an auto. can i source a manual box from the same age and be a direct fit? thanks

Any M30 gearbox will fit on a later engine.

Looks the right one, as long as it has the M30b35 stright 6 engine.
But looking at the year it's the right one.
Ask him for a pic of the enginebay.

Yes thats the right lump. They fitted the b35 to the 1988 cars onwards -

Yes that car should have an M30 in it, sounds like its been looked after too 8)

thanks for the replys, no I emailed him saying will you take cash tomorrow for £475, he said yess, so just waiting for an email with address and will be pciking her up tomorrow.

Just got home with the 535i, drives like a dream and very quick! cannot imagine what it will be like in my stripped E30!!. Thanks for the help guys. will most likly have more questions but for now that is all.
