Running rich, high emissions

Trying to get my 335i thru another mot and the emissions are high. It pops sometimes on overrun. I changed one of the temp sensors, the blue one, the orange one is the temp on the dash and the is another sensor in the thermostat housing but nothing plugged in? What's thAt meant to be for?? Sprayed carb cleaner thru the icv and airflow meter but still no joy. It doesn't hunt on idle, idle is 1000 rpm so a little high. The idle speed doesn't change when engine is warm, any ideas?
